Original William Wilson Colour Circus Poster Royal Agricultural Hall Islington 19th December 1939 - 21 January 1940 colour illustration of glamorous female tamer with 10 roaring tigers advertising his Great International Circus Krone printed by J Hammond & Co Birmingham. The vibrant red, blue, orange and yellow colours are stunning and appears to have been carefully stored away from sunlight. The poster comprises of four separate printed pieces folded and although some small tears to edges and folds exist the poster is in remarkable condition and looks stunning when laid flat. This large poster measures 225cm by 200cm. Incidentally this show was one of the last at the Royal Agricultural Hall as it was requisitioned by the Post Office during WW2 and was derelict for many years after.
Excellent condition with minor small tears to edges and small closed holes developing on corners of fold the colours and type are bright, the poster is clean and free from dust and marking
